### -Citizens Councils for European Integration, AI in Future Identity and Human-Centred Digital Citizenship

#### Om projektet

Center for Dansk og Integration er partner i det europæiske projekt **FUTURENTITY – Citizens Councils for European Integration, AI in Future Identity and Human-Centred Digital Citizenship**.

Projektet har til formål at styrke borgernes deltagelse i det demokratiske og civile samfundsliv i EU gennem dialog, samarbejde og fælles aktiviteter på tværs af europæiske lande. Projektet samler organisationer fra flere lande for at skabe nye muligheder for, at borgere kan bidrage aktivt til udviklingen af Europas fremtid.

#### Projektets formål

FUTURENTITY arbejder for at:

- Styrke aktivt medborgerskab og demokratisk deltagelse.
- Fremme dialog om Europas fremtid og fælles europæiske værdier.
- Øge borgernes forståelse af digital identitet og kunstig intelligens.
- Bekæmpe desinformation og styrke den demokratiske debat.
- Skabe større inklusion ved at inddrage borgere, som ofte er underrepræsenterede i demokratiske processer.

##### Projektet implementeres af:

Center for Dansk og Integration (Danmark), Asturia (Belgien), DIGI Mind Sphere S.R.L (Italien), Xeración Valencia (Spanien), SMART AI SOLUTIONS SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (Grækenland), Volunteers Centre Skopje (Makedonien).

                                    Summary of the project:

FUTURENTITY aims to strengthen active citizenship, democratic participation, and civic engagement across Europe by creating opportunities for dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge exchange between citizens from different countries and backgrounds.

The project seeks to:

- Promote active citizenship and democratic participation.
- Encourage dialogue on the future of Europe and shared European values.
- Increase awareness and understanding of digital identity and artificial intelligence.
- Combat disinformation and strengthen democratic resilience.
- Foster inclusion by engaging citizens who are often underrepresented in democratic processes.

- Citizens who are not usually active in civic and democratic life

For Center for Danish and Integration, FUTURENTITY is a natural extension of our work in integration, active citizenship, participation, and inclusive communities.

Through the project, we will contribute to activities that enable citizens to:

- Share experiences and perspectives.
- Develop new skills and competencies.
- Strengthen their understanding of democracy and the European Union.
- Participate in dialogue about Europe's future.
- Engage in international cooperation with European partners.
